Installation

INSTALLATION: CLIENT-SERVER or STAND-ALONE

Audit XL is available in both Client-Server and Stand-Alone versions.

• Client-Server: A common database containing all of the organization's Content Modules and Audits resides on the organization's Server. A built-in Security Panel enables a 'gatekeeper' to specify data access permissions for individual users.

Users may work directly with data while connected to the Server, or they can take data off-line and work while disconnected. Users can then re-connect and synchronize all the changes made while off-line.

• Stand-Alone: Separate databases containing Content Modules and Audits reside on each user's computer. Each user has full access to all Audit XL functions. An IMPORT / EXPORT function enables users to transfer data between users.
